Student experiences

More than a course. A turning point.

Every student arrives with a different story, level of experience and reason for saying yes. What they share is the feeling that this training reaches far beyond theory. It builds practical confidence, deepens their understanding of the body and changes the way they hold space for others. These are their experiences, in their own words.

This course was truly one of the most beautiful turning points for me, changing the direction of my life. It began as training, but I soon realised it was more like a personal retreat for my body, heart and soul.

The course content is so well-designed that even if you come in with no background at all, you’ll walk away with a true understanding of not just the gut and colon, but how the whole body works. It’s clear, it will make sense to you and, of course, it’s practical. The educators are fully invested in you and in sharing the powerful therapy that is the Rojas Technique.

At the end of the day, you’ll learn the theory, but it’s the water and the Rojas Technique that won’t just teach you, but change you—from the inside out. The therapy is transformational, and you’ll get to share this gift with others afterwards.

I believe that even if I’d never gone on to practise as a therapist, what I gained personally made it worth it many times over. It was more than education. It was a catalyst in my healing.

I cannot recommend this course enough. You will change your life and others by saying yes!

My whole experience of the Rojas Colon Hydrotherapy Foundation Course was very easy and straightforward. The information is right at your fingertips and so clear to understand.

For someone who hasn’t studied in over 20 years, I didn’t find myself struggling at all. The process of reading, watching and learning was very doable, so long as you apply yourself.

I honestly couldn’t fault the pre-clinic online study or the 10-day in-clinic training. This whole journey has been an ‘awakening’—a path I have absolutely no regrets choosing.

Emma is a fantastic teacher who wears many hats and is absolutely full of knowledge. She is simply amazing!

Joining the Bottoms Up Colonics team has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds as I begin this new chapter with the Kellyville team.

Becoming a Rojas Colon Hydrotherapist wasn’t just training—it was a calling. This experience changed me from the inside out, in every sense of the word!

I went into the course thinking I was learning a new skill, but what I found was something much deeper. I learned how to truly hold space for people; to guide them through release, reset and reconnection with their bodies. I saw firsthand how emotional, energetic and physical healing are all intertwined in the gut.

The training was so much more than tubes and water. It was a beautiful balance of anatomy, protocols, science, intuition, compassion and trust.

We were taught how to support others with care, confidence and deep respect for their process. This training is a beautiful reminder of the power of presence, of truly seeing someone and, most of all, honouring the body’s natural wisdom.

This work isn’t glamorous—it’s raw, honest and deeply sacred. I feel honoured every single day to facilitate this therapy and to walk alongside others as they let go: physically, emotionally and spiritually. To witness them reclaim lightness in their bodies and their lives.

It’s not just a job. It’s a path. A purpose. And for me, it has been pure soul-alignment.

Completing the Rojas Colon Hydrotherapy course at Bottoms Up with Emma has been one of the most in-depth and transformative learning experiences I’ve ever had.

From start to finish, the course was packed with incredibly informative and valuable content, not just for becoming a colon hydrotherapist, but for understanding true wellness on a whole new level.

Emma’s delivery of the material was next level. Her passion, depth of knowledge and unique ability to explain complex concepts in an engaging and digestible way made the entire journey so enjoyable and impactful. She’s a true powerhouse of information, and her energy is infectious in the best way.

The online platform was seamlessly integrated with the in-person component, creating an ideal learning environment where everything I had read and studied came to life. It really helped to solidify my understanding and build confidence in my skills.

I felt supported every step of the way—the community, the guidance and the space to grow. It all contributed to such a positive and empowering experience.

Even if you don’t plan on becoming a colon hydrotherapist, I truly believe this course is life-changing. The knowledge that Suzy, Emma and the team have curated and shared is profound, and it’s only just scratching the surface.

This course hasn’t just changed my life; it’s had a ripple effect that’s changed my family’s life too. And that kind of impact is simply priceless.

I honestly don’t think I’ll ever be able to fully put into words what this training experience has meant to me. It was so much more than learning a modality or gaining a new set of practical skills.

There was a genuine transformation that took place throughout the course in its entirety, but more specifically during those 10 incredible days. I feel like I’m walking away from the training as a different version of myself, truly. Wow!

To elaborate further on what ‘wow’ means, there was something incredibly special about the way the therapy was so professional, yet delivered so delicately that it didn’t even feel like training, if that makes sense. It was more than that. It was a transformation in and of itself.

The way Emma delivered the training to us, and how Suzy and the other incredible therapists we met gave each and every one of us space to share our life stories, meant we were held with such support, encouragement and understanding.

It wasn’t simply about being shown how to do something. It was about learning to feel, to listen, to trust our hearts, our hands, our intuition and, most importantly, ourselves. There was such a beautiful balance between knowledge, practical experience, energetics, deep spiritual connection and the deeper human side of holding space for another person. I’ve never experienced training quite like it.

I think one of the most profound parts for me was realising how much healing and growth can happen within the therapist as they learn to hold space for others. There were moments throughout the training where I felt challenged, stretched and pushed outside of what I thought I was capable of, but somehow those were also the moments where I grew the most.

I found a voice I had lost many, many years ago, and I finally wasn’t afraid to speak up. I felt a huge shift that’s unexplainable, but it was remarkable, and I found confidence that I never even knew I was capable of identifying with.

Furthermore, it felt like more than becoming ‘just’ a colon hydrotherapist. It felt like being invited into a deeper understanding of myself, of the work, of others and what it truly means to hold a safe and intentional space for another human being by simply ‘being’. I saw lives change over those 10 days, and that’s something I’ll cherish forever. It truly is what keeps me going and is why I’m so proud to be a part of Bottoms Up.

I get to now go on and create a space where I too can share the knowledge with anyone and everyone I can. It was incredibly sacred.

I’m genuinely grateful that I found my way to this training and to Emma, Suzy and all of the Bottoms Up community. What you have created is so much more than a course, and I think that’s what makes it so difficult to compare to anything else. It’s an experience you have to actually live through to even begin to understand. I wish everyone had this opportunity to experience it. It needs to be shared with the world!
